St Oliver Plunkett's/Eoghan Ruadh captured the Dublin JHC 'B' title when overcoming neighbours Nh Fionnbarra 2-16 to 0-9 in Sunday's final at Parnell Park.
Brendan Bennett was the scorer-in-chief for the Navan Road outfit as his 0-13 tally (0-7f, 0-2 '65') went a long way to settling the outcome.
By half-time Plunkett's held a 1-7 to 0-4 advantage with the goal coming in the second minute from the stick of Brian Daly.
But for some staunch goalkeeping of Niall Paget Plunkett's might have led by more at the break with the Barr's netminder doing well to deny Diarmuid McGrath before the break.
However, in the 44th minute McGrath made amends when putting away Plunkett's second goal as they marched to victory.
Finbarr's did get a penalty which their top-scorer Daniel Cummins pointed.
In the JHC 'D' decider which provided the curtain-raiser Whitehall Colmcille's greater fluency and firepower saw them defeated Nh Olaf 3-17 to 0-13.
Robbie Markey-Fox's first half goal helped Colmcille's to a 1-13 to 0-7 half-time advantage and with Liam Kennedy directing operations from centre-back they never looked like letting their hold on the game slip despite the accuracy from placed balls of Olaf's Done Mac Mathuna who finished with an individual tally of 0-11 (0-9f, 0-1 '65').
In the concluding quarter Shane Ryan and the influential Conor Sheedy added further goals for Whitehall Colmcille.
