Jonny Cooper highlighted Dublin's big game nerve and experience as some of the key factors to Saturday night's All-Ireland SFC final victory over Mayo in Croke Park.
With the game there for winning it was Dublin who gained the upperhand and eventually ran out five-point victors, 2-14 to 0-15.
"I don't know, I guess there's a little bit of experience there as well, we've been in these situations before, just knowing to stay composed and stay calm.
"Keep the structure and order to our game and what we're trying to execute. Obviously it's not going to be perfect and it wasn't, especially playing against a quality opposition," said the Na Fianna clubman.
"A bit of experience, but obviously trying to execute under pressure was a key one for us coming out in the second half.
Jonny played credit to Dublin's opponents, Mayo once again in a titanic 'do-or-die' encounter.
"Yeah savage team, always got that level of force and intensity. So we probably expected it to some degree, but at the same time, only until when you're in it you start to try figure it out.
Dublin restarted the second half down a man following the black-card to wing-back Robbie McDaid.
"So half-time obviously a man down, had to readjust and to be honest up the tempo a little bit," added Jonny.
"From our point of view, we managed to control it for a couple of minutes at the start which managed to give us a little bit of a footing.
"They were there or thereabouts, coming at us in waves, so had to readjust a little bit and then we got the full complement back, gave us a bit better opportunity just to settle things down, but it was probably nip and tuck there for a while until maybe towards the end it widened a small bit."
