Jim Gavin hails Denis Bastick’s decision to commit for 2016

Dublin football manager Jim Gavin has hailed as “really positive” the decision of Denis Bastick to commit to the Dublin cause for another season.

“It’s really positive for Dublin GAA that a stalwart like Denis Bastick has committed to the county cause once again,” says Jim.

“He has many years under his belt, he has started a family and just changed jobs - he’s with EBS now. It’s a very dynamic time in his life but he has still committed to Dublin GAA once again.

“We are just delighted to have his experience, not only on the field but off it as well. He’s just got such a big presence.”
