Dublin have some fresh injury concerns ahead of Sunday’s Leinster SHC quarter-final clash against Galway in Tullamore (4.0) with David O’Callaghan, Cian Boland and Fionntan Mac Gibb unlikely to feature.
“Dotsy (David O’Callaghan) came back in and was doing really well. But he picked up a hamstring injury in the last couple of weeks, so Sunday’s game will probably come a week too soon for him,” says manager Ger Cunningham.
Fionntan Mac Gibb and Cian Boland also suffered injuries during the recent club hurling championship.
“Fionntan got a finger injury in the club championship. Cian Boland also came back with a hamstring injury from the club championship.
“They’re three forwards that we could have done having been involved with us for selection.
“It par for the territory this time of the year. We also have guys doing exams,” adds Ger.
