Dublin’s Bernard Brogan says he has no intention of calling time on his inter-county career.
The St Oliver Plunkett’s/Eoghan Ruadh man was one of Dublin’s super-subs in last Saturday’s All-Ireland SFC replayed final victory over Mayo.
“I’ll play until I feel I’ve nothing extra to add and there’s others who can add more,” says the four-time All-Ireland SFC winner.
“I still think I have something to add to the team. So no, I’m hanging around. I’m not going anywhere, unless Jim (Gavin) has other ideas.
“You have to do your bit for the team. And if that means sitting aside for a while and give 20 minutes, that’s what you have to do,” adds the 32-year-old.
“I’m mature enough to accept that. And to be delighted to be on the winning side.”
