Cuala bounced back from their Round 3 defeat to Ballyboden St Enda’s as they edged Clann Mhuire by 6-10 to 0-22 in their entertaining Go-Ahead Ireland Dublin Adult Football League Division 3 clash in Hyde Park on Saturday evening.
As the scoreline would indicate, the ability of the hosts to find the net proved pivotal with their goals shared evenly through Cuan Nugent, Daire Callaghan, Darragh McAdam, Gavin Hartnett, Mark Smith and Jack O’Sullivan.
The away midfield of Ciaran Whyte and Steven Rogers worked tirelessly to keep their side in the hunt but two excellent saves from Cuala goalkeeper Shane Foley and two points apiece by Shane Foley and Luke Twomey saw the Dalkey side home with six points to spare.
Round Towers Clondalkin picked up their third win of the year as they pipped St Anne’s by 1-19 to 3-12 in Bohernabreena.

Elsewhere, Clanna Gael Fontenoy and Ballyboden St Enda’s top the table on seven points from a possible eight following their comfortable wins against Trinity Gaels and St Patrick’s Palmerstown respectively.
