Dublin football manager, Jim Gavin, says his side face "a big, big challenge" when they face Laois in Sunday's Leinster SFC quarter-final in Croke Park (4.0).
Laois have already tasted championship success this summer when they defeated Wicklow in Aughrim, 0-21 to 1-11.
"For any team to go down to Aughrim and score 21 points - and probably should have had another six or seven - is a good day's work", says Jim.
"The last two games they played where they've had to win - against Down in the National League and against Wicklow in the championship - they have done a very comprehensive job to win."
"With Tomás Flatharta going in there, they have stuck to the values of Laois football. They are a physically strong team, they have lots of pace in the forwards and backs, and they continue to be a team that can put up big scores, as was demonstrated in Aughrim. So it's a big, big challenge".
