FODHC NEWS
Diary date for you! The Annual General meeting of FODHC will go ahead in Parnell Park at 7.30pm on Wednesday April 2nd. We are hoping to have somebody from every GAA Club in Dublin there this year. We hope to see you there.
YOU ARE NEEDED!
Mount Temple Comprehensive School on the Malahide Road are seeking your help! Up to now this school did not play hurling and camogie but that is now changing rapidly! Noelle Ryan, a teacher in the school is fast making inroads by introducing the small ball game to both first year students and transition year students. Her long term plan if time etc allows is to have both games for all students!
To date the school have organised a first year Blitz with students from the following schools: Lusk Community College,Belmayne Educate Together and St.David's Artane.
However, they need help please! They are seeking old hurls, size 32, 34 and any helmets you may have. It does not matter if the hurls are in bad shape as they are happy to repair! So, maybe now is the time to check out lost property in your clubhouse or tidy out the press or garage! Let's see how many hurls and helmets the Dubs can donate and at the same time do yourself some good! Many of their students travel across the city to this school and some are playing with clubs already. The school have been in touch with some of the local schools already but we are putting a big call out now to all units in Dublin! Let the collect begin!
So this is how you can help! Contact Noelle Ryan at the following e mail: please:noelle.ryan@mounttemple.ie
