Friend Of Dublin Hurling Update

Mon, 27th May 2024

It has been a huge week for Dublin Hurling and Camogie with two teams reaching Leinster Finals, showing what is good in Dublin Hurling.

Then on Saturday Dublin senior Camogie team began their Glendimplex championship in Parnell against Galway. A great performance, level at the break and on 3 further occassions in the 2nd half.

Unlucky not to have got something from this outing, but a corner has surely changed this year.

FODH palyed their part by sponsoring clubs who sent buses to the hurling games and then sponsored 100 Camogie flags for the game last Saturday. For people wishing to claim back their €200.00 for club buses please call or text Michael Kilbride at 086 385 6268.

FODH say well done to the mighty Dublin hurlers who defeated Galway. We all look forward now to the Leinster Final.

Next Saturday, St.Peregrines will be the venue for the 2nd round of the senior camogie championship when Dublin host Clare and also the Intermediate team take on Kerry in the opening game. Tim to be confirmed. Check out Dublin camogie later in the week.
