Fingal suffer extra-time blues

Holders Tyrone edged out Fingal in extra-time of this Nicky Rackard quarter-final at Swords.

Fingal enjoyed a great first half in normal time and led by seven points, 0-13 to 0-6.

However, Matthew Mulgrew's goal sparked a Tyrone comeback and it took a late JM Sheridan free force extra-time, 0-18 to 1-15.

The sides were both still level, 0-20 to 1-17, at half-time in extra-time but scores from Gerard Gilmore and Conor Grogan swung it for the visitors.
