Eoghan O’Gara set for return towards end of league

Dublin senior football manager Jim Gavin is optimistic that Eoghan O'Gara will make his return to the Dublin colours towards the end of the regulations games in this NFL campaign.

O’Gara’s 2015 season was ended with a serious knee injury and he is currently working his way back to full fitness.

“I think the back end of the league. Eoghan's back on the pitch which is the most important thing and he's back in a pair of boots which is even more good news," says Jim.

The Dubs travel to Castlebar next Saturday night to face Mayo in Elverys Mac Hale Park.

“Mayo is a game way too early for him, wouldn't like to circle a date in the calendar.

“It's really when he's ready and when the medical team think he's ready. But I would hope that we'll see him in the back end of the National League," adds Jim.
