Dublin GAA is seeking applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer / Rúnaí.
Based in Parnell Park, Dublin GAA is a dynamic community-based members’ organisation with a network of over 90 amateur clubs with the core objective of promoting and developing Gaelic games and culture in the country’s largest population centre.
Dublin GAA constantly strives towards achieving its strategic goals including increasing participation, inclusivity, integration and developing playing facilities for a diverse population and the evolving GAA communities in the four local authorities.
The Chief Executive Officer/Rúnaí will be responsible for working with the Management Committee to develop the vision and strategies for the GAA within the county and for implementing short and long-term plans to achieve the Association’s goals.
It is the key strategic role for the organisation and the successful person will be charged with the governance, oversight and responsibility for driving and advancing the efficiency and effectiveness of its operations and enhancing the growth of the Association in Dublin.
Reporting to the County Chairperson on behalf of the Management Committee, the role holder will provide direction and leadership to management and staff and oversee the effective development of Dublin GAA objectives.
Dublin GAA seeks applications from high-calibre dynamic individuals with proven leadership and management experience and strong knowledge, experience and understanding of the GAA, its structures, ethos and values in addition to extensive technical knowledge of the Association.
