Dubs nominated for RTÉ Sport Team of the Year 2016

This year's All-Ireland Senior Football Champions have been nominated for RTÉ Sport Team of the Year 2016. 

Here is the full list of nominations for RTÉ Sport Team of the Year:

• Connacht Rugby team
• Cork Ladies GAA Football team
• Dublin Senior GAA Football team
• Dundalk FC
• Ireland's Paralympic Cycling team
• Ireland's Paralympic Athletics team
• Ireland Rugby team
• Kilkenny Ladies GAA Camogie team
• Northern Ireland Soccer team
• Paul & Gary O'Donovan (Olympic rowing team)
• Republic of Ireland Soccer team
• Tipperary Senior GAA Hurling team

Voting details for Team of the Year to be released on Saturday.

As well as this, Jim Gavin has been nominated for RTÉ Sport Manager of the Year, and Brian Fenton has been nominated for RTÉ Sportsperson of the year.

The Manager of the Year award is voted on by RTÉ Sport editorial staff.

Voting has now closed for the  RTÉ Sportsperson of the Year and the winner will be announced live on the night of the awards. 

The RTÉ Sport Awards 2016 are live on RTÉ One on Saturday 17 December at 9pm.
