The championship action will get underway at 14:00pm. Tickets are now on sale from www.universe.com for this first round Leinster senior championship encounter.

The game will be streamed live by Leinster LGFA – more details / info to follow.

This season, Meath will be seeking to bridge a twenty-five-year gap having last tasted provincial success in 2000 while Kildare will be seeking an historic first senior crown. Dublin on the other hand will be seeking a nineteenth provincial title and a fourth in a row.

While Dublin enjoyed a convincing victory over Meath in the league the Royal County finished up their 2025 league campaign with an impressive win over finalists Armagh having ran eventual NFL champions Kerry close the previous week.

Kildare will come into the Leinster senior championship boosted by their impressive NFL victories over both Dublin and Meath. Kildare manager Pat O’Sullivan has instilled a huge amount of confidence and self believe in his chargers in his first season in charge of the lilywhites.

The 2025 Leinster senior championship has all the makings of a closely contested competition and one for all football enthusiasts to really look forward too.

Kildare and Dublin will play on Saturday 27th of April with Meath and Kildare concluding the group stage of the competition on May 4th. The Leinster Senior final will take place in Croke Park on Saturday May 11th a double header with the GAA final.
