What a few weeks it's been for Dublin GAA!
Our Men's historic five-in-a-row achievement last Saturday week was followed up by our Dublin Ladies making it three-in-a-row the following day.
To celebrate these incredible achievements, a homecoming will take place at Merrion Square for both teams on Sunday September 29th from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
This will be a ticket-only event- but all tickets will be FREE and will be available through GAA Clubs across the county.
The Homecoming, presented by Dublin City Council, will feature live performances from Keywest and Eoin Thomas & The Rising Sons, followed by interviews with former Dublin football stars hosted by Marty Morrissey, a specially commissioned video of Dublin wins from 1891 to 2018, highlights from both the ladies and the men’s matches and live on stage the victorious, all-conquering Dublin teams and staff.
Lord Mayor of Dublin Paul McAuliffe said “The Homecoming will be full of colour and excitement and an opportunity for Dublin fans to reunite and relive sporting history with their heroes”
