NATIONAL GAA COACHING & GAMES CONFERENCE

We had an enjoyable day presenting at the Official National Coaching Conference the fantastic Connacht GAA Air Dome.

Our Director of Coaching & Club Development Gerard O'Connor led the practical station based coaching session.

He was assisted by our Learning & Games Development Coordinator Owen Mooney and Coaching Department Interns from DCU Aoife Lowth & Laura Scuffil.

DUBLIN GAA ONLINE CONFERENCE

Our first Online Coaching Conference took place in February.

The theme of the conference was titled “Enhancing Our Coaching & Player Environments”.

We had 5 presenters over the day and the feedback from the subjects discussed has been very positive.

DUBLIN GAA COACHING WORKSHOPS

Over the last number of months we have recorded new workshops for Gaelic Football & Hurling.

GPO STAFF DEVELOPMENT

In preparation for another busy summer of Camps, Player, Coach & Volunteer Development we held two staff development days with our GPOs in Parnell Park and Ballyboden St Endas respectively.

As always our GPOs are doing tremendous work in their respective clubs.

We continue to ask everyone who comes into contact with our GPOs to say #ThanksCoach.

ADVANCED GAELIC FOOTBALL GOALKEEPER COACHING COURSE

We recently completed the first Advanced Gaelic Football Goalkeeper Coaching Course.

The course was facilitated under the expert tuition of Gary Matthews and was designed to provide Gaelic Football Coaches working at youth and adult level with essential information and skills on how to deliver an appropriate Goalkeeping training programme.

This goalkeeping training course was specifically designed to meet the needs of the modern Goalkeeping Coach.
