Dublin's U16 hurlers enjoyed an encouraging day in the Michael Foley Cup in the Ferns Centre of Excellence last Saturday.
The Dubs were beaten at the quarter-final stage by Kilkenny, 1-12 to 1-11, before moving on the participate in the Shield competition.
In the Shield they defeated Offaly, 3-11 to 0-12, in the semi-final before losing the decider to Laois, 1-13 to 2-9.
Dublin's U15 hurlers in both the Arrabawn Cup and John Cup in Tipperary.
The Dublin 'A' panel lost to an impressive Galway, 1-19 to 2-7, before being edged out by Kilkenny in their next game by three points.
Dublin's 'B' selection also lost to the Cats, 2-12 to 1-11, before defeating Kildare in the second encounter.
Dublin's U14 hurlers took part in the Tony Forristal Cup in Waterford and opened their group stage with a 4-15 to 3-9 victory over Laois before losing to Galway, 1-17 to 3-8.
In the Sonny Walsh Cup (U14), Dublin defeated Limerick, 1-6 to 0-3, and Waterford, 3-6 to 1-4, before Galway defeated them by three points, 1-11 to 2-5.
