Daly: Paul Schutte was exceptional

Dublin manager Anthony Daly praised the marking job of Paul Schutte following Saturday night's Leinster SHC semi-final victory (0-22 to 1-14) over Wexford in Wexford Park.

Paul Schutte curbed the influential of Wexford full-forward Conor McDonald after taking over the marking duties from Peter Kelly.

"Paul Schutte was exceptional for us tonight. It was between himself and Conal Keaney for man of the match. He wasn't even playing well in training over the last few weeks. But what a man for the big day.

"The way he stepped up to the plate was unbelievable. He has been some asset to us since coming over from the football. I don't know where we'd be without him," said Anthony.
