Cumann na mBunscol’s latest recruits to their Dublin Primary Whistlers refereeing scheme

The latest recruits to Cumann na mBunscol’s Dublin Primary Whistlers refereeing scheme, were trained in Croke Park by David Gough. 

They have been refereeing in Croke Park and Parnell Park during Leinster championship games and in Dublin’s All-Ireland series games. 

The boys and girls have been loudly applauded by the crowds and have really enjoyed the big occasions. 

The Dublin Cumann na mBunscol whistlers scheme, which began in 1988, was the first of its kind in the country and was replicated by the National Referees’ Committee for roll-out nationally in 2008.

This year’s participants are Kyle McLoughlin, Fintan Gillane, Eoghan Friery, Jimmy Fleming, Sadhbh Mythen, Scott Fulham, Emma Thorpe and Lucy Perrin.
