Craobh Chiaráin had little difficulty jumping their first hurdle in the Leinster JFC preliminary round when they defeated Amsterdam, 2-18 to 1-9, in last Saturday's clash in Maastricht, in the south east of the Netherlands.
Craobh's superior fitness told over the hour and they progress to face Louth's St Oliver Plunkett's in the first round proper (Dublin venue) with the winners of that duel progressing to meet Westmeath champions Moate All Whites in the quarter-final.
Gary Kelly and the evergreen Ger Ennis got the Craobh goals with Stephen Kelly adding three points as the Donnycarney men defeated the European senior champions.
Chiaráins face St Oliver Plunkett's (Louth) on October 26 with the winners out again on November 9
