As part of Booterstown secondary school Coláiste Eoin's Golden Anniversary celebrations they will face a Dublin senior hurling selection this Saturday in Billings Park, UCD (2.0).
Former Coláiste Eoin students such as the Cuala contingent Mark Schutte, Seán Moran, Jake Malone, Colm Cronin, Diarmuid O Floinn, John, Cillian and Colum Sheanon, Seán Brennan, Cian O'Callaghan, Cian and Con O'Callaghan as well as Kilmacud Crokes Fergal Whitely, Seán McGrath and Oisín O'Rorke and St Jude's Fionn O Riain Broin and Danny Sutcliffe as well as St Vincent's Cian, Rian and Darach McBride and keeper Dara De Poire are expected to be included in their panel for their clash against Mattie Kenny's selection.
It provides the Dublin manager with an opportunity to look at players ahead of the upcoming Walsh Cup.
Dublin’s senior hurlers are grouped with Carlow, Laois and Westmeath in the 2020 Walsh Cup.
The Dubs will commence their round-robin games on Sunday, December 8 against Laois in Parnell Park, the following Sunday they are away to Westmeath and complete the group stage with a home tie against Carlow in the new year (Sunday, January 5).
The county that tops the round-robin section will join Galway, Kilkenny and Wexford in the semi-finals.
