Chris Crummey will captain the Dublin senior hurlers for this year’s league.
“Chris will be captain for the league,” said manager Pat Gilroy.
Dublin travel to face Antrim this Sunday (Corrigan Park, Belfast, 2.0) in their second game of their NHL campaign and Danny Sutcliffe among others should be available for selection.
“We have a couple of guys who are carrying small strains that should be OK to train this week and should be available.
“Danny (Sutcliffe), for instance, should be available.”
While Dublin disappointed in last Saturday night’s defeat to Offaly in Croke Park the Dubs boss is keen to focus on the longer term project.
“We’re taking it game by game. We’re trying to rebuild a team here and trying to become really competitive in the summer. That’s the main thing for us.”
