The Ballyboden St Enda’s mantra is ‘work, work, work’ ahead of Thursday’s AlB All-Ireland club SFC final against Castlebar Mitchels in Croke Park (4.0).
It's a core principle that has served them very well so far as they dug deep on several occasions to defy the odds
Boden’s versatile wing-forward Darren O’Reilly states it as it is with regard to manager Andy McEntee’s message.
“His motto is hard work. If you don’t work hard, there are plenty of other lads ready to come in and who would love to wear the jersey.
“When you get the jersey, you have to respect it, and put it back in a better place than when you got it.”
"The biggest challenge is getting guys to believe the likes of this is possible," says manager Andy McEntee.
"My opinion from the word go was, 'If Ballyboden think they are the biggest Gaelic club in Ireland, or in Europe, or the world, then they should be winning All-Ireland clubs'.
"That’s what Vincent’s do, that’s what Kilmacud do. If you want to be included in that category, you've got to do the work."
