Boden dominate Dublin Bus/Herald Dubs Stars Football 15

The good times continue to roll for Ballyboden St Enda’s – Dublin champions, Kings of Leinster and now eight of their footballers have been honoured among the Dublin Bus/Herald Dubs Stars football selection.

Seven players are included in the starting 15 – Paul Durcan, Stephen Hiney, Shane Clayton, Darragh Nelson, Michael Darragh Macauley, Ryan Basquel and Andrew Kerin along with defender Bob Dwan among the reserve awards.

Beaten county finalists, St Vincent’s, have received four awards – Nathan Mullins, Diarmuid Connolly and Tomás Quinn in the first 15 and Shane Carthy among the reserves.

Na Fianna duo Jonny Cooper and Tomás Brady make the team and are joined on by goalkeeper Ryan O’Flaherty on the bench.

Jack McCaffrey, this year’s GAA GPA Footballer of the Year, is selected at right half-back and his fellow Clontarf team-mates Declan Monaghan and Ciarán Johnston make the reserves.

There are also two Lucan representatives in the 15 – Emmett O Conghaile at midfield and Brendan Gallagher at full-forward.
