Tue, 21st November 2017

Anthony Daly is back involved in Dublin hurling again - this time at club level after being announced as the new Kilmacud Crokes senior hurling manager.

Daly succeeds his fellow Clare man, Ollie Baker, who stepped down recently.

The Crokes management team will be led by Daly together with long-term club stalwart, ex-Tipperary captain and Dublin hurling selector Richie Stakelum .

They will be joined by former senior club hurler and club mentor and officer Adrian Crean.

Kilmacud Crokes Hurling Chairman Peter Walsh said: "We are delighted that Anthony and Richie have agreed to come onboard. We have a talented, ambitious and driven group of players and I am very clear about the conviction, passion and ambition the new management will bring to our club and its flagship team.

" We have a massive interest and hunger for success in hurling in the club and the community and we are really looking forward to getting going on the year ahead."
