AIG Fenway Classic programme on TG4

The AIG Fenway Classic programme will be broadcast on TG4 this coming weekend on Saturday 5^th December at 12:05pm and repeated on Sunday afternoon at 5:15pm.

The programme will include highlights from the AIG Fenway Hurling Classic from Fenway Park, Boston with action from the Super 11’s hurling match involving Galway and Dublin. The programme will also include interviews and features with the Super 11’s Hurling game forming part of an Irish Festival at Fenway Park. It was the first time since 1954 that hurling was played at the world famous home of the Boston Red Sox. Back then All-Ireland Champions Cork defeated an American Hurling selection.

Includes interviews with Declan O’Rourke (AIG), Declan Kearney (Aer Lingus), Alan Milton (GAA), Seán Potts (GPA), John Cunningham (Boston GAA), Ger Cunningham (Dublin Hurling Manager), Liam Rushe (Dublin hurler), Fergal Moore (Galway hurler), Colm Callanan (Galway hurler), John W. Henry (Owner of the Boston Red Sox & Fenway Sports Group), Marty Walsh (Mayor of Boston) and Sam Kennedy (President of the Boston Red Sox).

The programme will also be available online and on the TG4 Player at www.tg4.tv.
