2022 Leinster Minor Hurling Championship

Dublin’s Minor Hurlers will take on Kilkenny and Wexford in Tier 1 of the 2022 Leinster Minor Hurling Championship.

Dublin will host Wexford in their Round Robin Round 1 tie on Sat 26^th March.

The Boys in Blue have a bye in Round 2, before a Round 3 trip to Kilkenny on Sat 16^th April.

The top two teams in Tier 1 will qualify for the Leinster Semi-Finals, with the third placed team qualifying for the Leinster Quarter Finals.

The Leinster Quarter Final is scheduled for Sat 30^th April, with the Semi-Finals due to take place on Sat 7^th May.

The Leinster Final will take place on Sat/ Sun 14^th/ 15^th May.

Round Robin

Tier 1: Top 2 teams qualify for Semi Finals. Remaining team qualify for Qt Finals.

Tier 2: Top team qualifies for Quarter Finals.

2^nd and 3^rd teams qualify for preliminary Quarter Finals

Tier 3: Top 2 teams qualifies for Knockout stages.

If 6 or more teams (max 8) intend to participate it will be 2 groups with top team in each group qualifying for preliminary Knockout stages.

The remaining teams qualify for the Peadar O Liathain Cup.

Preliminary Quarter Finals (2 games) - 2^nd and 3^rd Teams Tier 2 v Top 2 Teams in Tier 3.

Quarter Finals (2 games)

3^rd Team in Tier 1, 1^st Team in Tier 2 and 2 Preliminary Q.F. Winners.

Semi Finals: 1^st and 2^nd Teams in Tier 1 plus 2 Quarter Final winners.

Venues: Knockout stages. Lowest team placed has home advantage.

Where 2 Tier 1 teams meet, home and away as heretofore applies.

Final: Neutral Venue.
