Go Games Rules for 2023 season

The Coaching & Games Department under Ger O’Connor carried out a review of the Go Game Rules covering the under 8 to under 12 age grades in both hurling and football.

Ger presented and the discussed the proposed rule change with Clubs at the Coiste na nÓg meeting last Thursday.

I attach the agreed Go Game Rules for the 2023 Season.

Go Games are small-sided versions of hurling and football for children up to and including 11 years of age. We have decided to continue to include the under 12 age grade under the control of the CCC1 juvenile committee. At under 12 players are almost playing full rules but with still reduced playing numbers . U12 is also the first-time our Go Game referees record scores as these are competitive games.
