Dublin GAA Juvenile update Wednesday January 7th

Wed, 7th January 2015

A Rúnaí, a chara,

CCC2 County Delegate meeting will take place on Thursday January 8th in Parnell Park at 8 p.m. All club should be represented as no representations will be taken with regard to the issued gradings except at that meeting. In general no changes will be made unless direct swaps which do not affect the competitiveness of the leagues are, in CCC2’s view, possible. The gradings were issued on December 23rd and a revised version will be issued at the meeting to reflect changes made by CCC2 ( withdrawals, late entries, etc.)

Please note that all clubs U/13 Football teams should be represented at the January 8th meeting by at least one mentor, preferably the lead mentor, so they can be briefed on CCC2 operations and 2015 League Regulations in advance of the season ( Hurling U/13 mentors should attend their grading meeting in early February).

Transfers: Prior to Christmas, Club Secretaries and Juvenile Secretaries received an update of the Juvenile Inter Club Transfer Applications recently received by CCC1 ( U/8 to U/12) and CCC2 ( U/13 to U/16). Current clubs have now had the opportunity to respond to each transfer application. CCC1 (January 12th) and CCC2 ( January 8th) will decide on all transfer application requests ( including those where there is agreement between both clubs at these meetings). Please note the Dublin Inter Club Transfer Season is NOW CLOSED. The transfer season will next reopen for the period from December 1st to December 8th 2015.

CCC1 County Delegate meeting will take place Monday January 12th at 8pm to discuss 2015 U/8 to U/12 Football proposed gradings. To facilitate U/12 Football gradings, Clubs were asked to self-grade their U/12 teams for the initial five U/12 Football Blitz games .
