Dublin GAA Juvenile update Thursday August 20th

U/11 Advance Fixtures ( August to November).

I attach advance U/11 Hurling and Football fixtures for the remainder of the season. These fixtures reflect the changes requested by clubs ( clubs moving between the various non competitive leagues). As these are completely redrawn fixtures , they may reflect a repeat of a game already played.

As outlined at the start of the year CCC1 gave clubs for the age groups U/8 , U/9 , U/10 & U/11 an opportunity to move between groupings for post Summer fixtures. The incoming U/8 , U/9 & U/10 fixtures will also reflect these changes.

Championship Fixtures

With U/15 and U/16 Hurling Championships commencing this weekend and with U/15 Football Championship starting soon , I attach again CCC2 Championship Regulations

ExtraTime of 2 periods of Ten minutes to be played in ALL CCC2 Championship games if required.

If Teams are tied for 1st or 2nd Place in a League?

As we come to the concluding stages of our competitive U/12 to U/16 League competitions , please note the following:

score difference or head to head results can't be used in juvenile games to determine places… if 2 / 3 teams are tied for 1st or 2nd place, a Play Off(s) is required.. .so no benefit / advantage to be gained if you beat the weak teams in your league by 40 points as opposed to 2 points .

U/12 Camaint

Can clubs who won U/12 Camaint Cups and Shields last year , please return next week in advance of this years finals on Saturday August 29th
