A Rúnaí, a chara,
I attach the fixtures for this coming Saturday & Sunday September 6th & 7th.
Congratulations to all 32 teams who took part in last Saturday’s U/12 Camaint Finals in Parnell Park and to Fingallians, Faughs, Craobh Chiarain, O’Tooles, Naas, Ballyboden St Enda’s, Whitehall Colmcilles and Na Fianna on winning their respective competitions. Once again CCC1 Executive would like to thank all the Parnell Park Stewards for their assistance throughout the day in the hosting of these finals and to these volunteers also on duty for the U/11 Camaint Finals the previous Saturday when 40 teams took part. CCC1 would also to thank our young referees on both days.
Please note for all U/15 & U/16 Hurling Championship and Shield games…. Extra Time of two periods of 10 minutes to be played if required.
All U/15 games this Sunday have a start time of 10.30am due to the All-Ireland Hurling Finals.
*Taken from Championship regulations:*
A neutral referee must be present. The home team is responsible for contacting the referee to ensure his availability. If a referee fails to show the game will automatically be re-fixed by CCC2. If the appointed referee reports that he was not contacted by the home club then the re-fixture shall be played at their opponent’s home venue i.e. they lose home advantage.
I will issue U/8 Hurling Blitz details for Saturday September 13th later this week.
