Dublin GAA Juvenile update Monday January 9th

Mon, 9th January 2017

CCC2

The proposed CCC2 ( U13 to U16) Football Leagues gradings for the 2017 season have been issued and Clubs have submitted their representations / feedback as requested by last Friday.

The gradings will be discussed at a CCC2 County Delegates meeting on Tuesday January 10th in Parnell Park at 8pm.

Please note that all clubs U13 Football teams should be represented at the January 10th meeting by at least one mentor, preferably the lead mentor, so they can be briefed on CCC2 operations and regulations in advance of the season as they move from CCC1.

CCC1

CCC1 will issue 2017 Proposed Football Gradings ( U8 to U12) on Monday January16th and a CCC1 County Delegate meeting will take place Tuesday January 17th at 8pm to discuss these gradings.

As CCC1 have no competitive games until the U12 age group and as all U12 teams are individual single teams ( no groupings) , CCC1 needs to grade 105 teams. Similar to recent years to facilitate U12 Football gradings, Clubs are asked to self-grade their U12 teams for the initial five U12 Football Blitz games . The relevant file was issued to your Juvenile Secretary last week and needs to be return to me by Thursday January 12th (please note only self-grading feedback VIA your Juvenile Secretary will be accepted by CCC1).

Hurling Entry Forms

The 2017 HurlingEntryForm was issued before Christmas and needs to be returned to secretarybng.dublin@gaa.ie by Wednesday 18th January( I will only accept entries from a Juvenile Secretary and your entry should cover the full hurling age group range of U/8 to U/16).

Yours in Sport,
Damian
