Dublin GAA Juvenile update Monday January 13th

Important upcoming dates:

Monday January 13th : - CCC2 County Delegates meeting takes place tonight in Parnell Park at 8pm. Clubs have been issued proposed football gradings for the 2020 on January 1st and again on January 9th. Reminder that CCC2 ask the lead mentor for incoming U13 Football teams to be represented at the CCC2 County Delegate meeting in order to understand how CCC2 operates in contrast to CCC1 responsible for U8 to U12 competitions.

Wednesday January 15th : - CCC1 County Delegates meeting takes place on Wednesday in Parnell Park at 8pm. Clubs issued proposed grading for U8 to U12 Football competitions on January 12th. Following the grading meeting on Wednesday , Club entries at U8, U9, U10 & U11 will be committed to the groupings they are placed in until June 2020. CCC1 will then allow clubs to move groupings to facilitate increased / decreased numbers for the remainder of the 2020 season. As we don't record results until the under 12 age group , Clubs have self-graded their Under 12 teams for the initial five Under 12Football Blitz games before a further grading meeting to determine the Under 12 Football Leagues.

Wednesday January 15th : Closing date for the return of the 2020 Juvenile Football Contacts Directory capture file sent to Juvenile Secretaries.

Friday January 18th : Closing date for the return of the 2020 Juvenile Hurling entry form also with your Juvenile Secretary.

Friday January 24th : CCC2 Referee Rules update briefing in Parnell Park at 8pm

New Football Rules:

On behalf of CCC2 I can confirm that the new rules will apply from the U13 age group upwards.
