A Rúnaí, a chara,
CCC2
I attach the proposed gradings for CCC2 ( U/13 to U/16) Football Leagues for 2015. The U/13 grading league is based on U/12 league tables for 2014 and the results will be used to grade the league proper after five rounds of grading games. The principles underlying U/14 to U/16 grading are eight team leagues which CCC2 feel will be competitive. On that basis, and in particular at U/16, the principle of two up/two down does not really apply due to the traditional decrease in teams fielding at U/15 and the increase at U/16.
These gradings will be discussed at a CCC2 County Delegate meeting on Thursday January 8th in Parnell Park at 8 p.m. All club should be represented as no representations will be taken with regard to these gradings except at that meeting. In general no changes will be made unless direct swaps which do not affect the competitiveness of the leagues are, in CCC2’s view, possible.
Clubs are asked to check carefully to ensure that all of their teams are listed. Clubs who wish to enter further teams or withdraw teams must do so in advance of this meeting.
Please note that all clubs U/13 Football teams should be represented at the January 8th meeting by at least one mentor, preferably the lead mentor, so they can be briefed on CCC2 operations and regulation in advance of the season ( Hurling U/13 mentors should attend their grading meeting in early February).
CCC1
CCC1 will issue 2015 Proposed Football Gradings ( U/8 to U/12) in early January and a CCC1 County Delegate meeting will take place Monday January 12th at 8pm to discuss these gradings.
To facilitate U/12 Football gradings, Clubs are asked to review the attached file and help CCC1 by self-grading their U/12 teams for the initial five U/12 Football Blitz games . Please return this information by Monday January 5th (please note only self-grading feedback VIA your Juvenile Secretary will be accepted by CCC1).
