‘Life is worth talking about’

The Samaritans main aim is to support anyone in distress, around the clock.

They are active in our local community and can assist GAA clubs in the following ways:

  • Provide a talk to the various teams within your club who might like same.
  • Provision of a Work Shop, encompassing the Samaritan Way of working with particular emphasis to listening skills
  • Provide a talk to Club Health and Well Being Committee if required.
  • Provide a talk to Committees within a GAA Club be they Juvenile/Hurling/Football /Camogie or Ladies Football or all of the afore mentioned.
  • Provision of any Samaritan details for your Club Web Page.

The talks themselves are only 15/20 minutes long and highlight the Samaritans Services. The audience will have an opportunity to ask questions and have an open interchange with the Samaritans. The workshops are more encompassing.

‘Life is worth talking about’.
