St Oliver Plunkett's/Eoghan Ruadh won the Dublin MFC 'B' final in impressive fashion when defeating Round Tower Lusk, 3-9 to 0-8, in St Margaret's last weekend.
The Navan Road outfit started sharply with early points from Seán Bugler, Aaron Carey and Oisín Bresnan.
Their first goal came in the 13th minute when the pacey Peter Maher carved through the middle of the Lusk defence before unleashing a thunderbolt to the roof of the net from 15 metres.
Just over ten minutes later Aaron Carey raised the second green flag for Plunkett's when he rounded his marker before firing to the net to help his side to a commanding 2-6 to 0-5 interval advantage.
Tower's continued to battle to the finish with Cormac Howley doing his best to lift his side but they were frustrated by a strong Plunkett's defence with keeper Daire Bartley alert at all times.
The icing on the cake came two minutes from the end of normal time when the influential Seán Bugler placed Daragh Caulwell and the super-sub make no mistake when firing home their third goal to seal the deal.
