The best young hurlers in the capital enjoyed a hectic weekend of action as they continue their development.
Dublin's U14A side gained great experience from three games in last weekend's Tony Forristal Hurling Tournament in Waterford.
The Dubs enjoyed group wins against Clare and Galway before being edged out by Kilkenny in their semi-final, 2-13 to 3-7.
Dublin made a great start to the day's activities when they outclassed Clare, 3-18 to 1-2, in their opening game with LucanSarsfields' Joey Dunne particularly prominent from play and placed ball.
Seán Gannon (Whitehall Colmcille) also impressed as did Dennis McSweeney (St Oliver Plunkett’s/Eoghan Ruadh) and Diarmuid O Dulaing (Commercials).
The Dubs built on that win by overcoming Galway, 3-10 to 1-11, in their second outing to emerge from their group before losing to the Cats in their last-four encounter.

In a fine battle Tipp edged home by 3-3 to 2-5 with Sean Mulrooney (Castleknock) impressing for Dublin.
Dublin bounced back in their second game to beat Limerick 0-11 to 0-10 with the likes of Mulroney Brian Murray (St Vincent’s), Matthew Gardner (Ballinteer St John's), Charlie Costello (Clontarf) doing well.
Jordan Dennis (Nh Barrog) and Adam Kelly (Castleknock) were Dublin's top scorers.

The boys from the capital had opened their day's action with a 0-19 to 2-7 victory over Offaly after the sides were level at the half-time interval.

In their next game Dublin and Wexford were locked in a battle to the finish with Wexford eventually emerging victorious, 7-10 to 6-12, after extra-time after O'Toole's Cathal Keane had earned Dublin a draw in normal time with a free in added time.

The Dubs began the day in impressive fashion when defeating hosts Cork by 1-12 to 1-9 in a well-contest, physical battle.
Clare were next up and got off to a better start but Dublin fought back before a pointed free in the dying seconds saw the Banner County complete a 2-10 to 1-12 victory.
Dublin, however, advanced to the last-four on points difference but a Galway team that included three of their All-Ireland minor winning panel proved too strong as they prevailed 3-12 to 1-10.
