Former Dublin hurling goalkeeper, Brendan McLoughlin, is going the extra mile at Parnell Park this Saturday – before, during and after the Dubs v Galway in NHL action.
Brendan is on his bike at the Donnycarney venue to help little Eric Fitzpatrick, who is battling a rare illness.
Brendan will be on the bike outside the ground for an hour before the game.
He’ll then go inside and cycle while the match is on. And he’ll keep cycling for 30 minutes after full-time.
“Eric’s father, Mark, is a very good friend of mine. He’s a long-time member of O’Toole’s, and any help we can give Eric would be greatly appreciated.
“We’ll have a bucket collection, Cycle For Eric, at Parnell Park, and every little bit helps,” says Brendan.
