Basquel hits brace for Boden

Ballyboden St Enda's recovered from a slow start to easily defeat St John's in this Dublin SFC second round clash at O'Toole Park on Saturday.

Thanks to a brace of points each from Brendan Colleran and Aodhan Clabby Ballinteer opened up an early 0-5 to 0-2 advantage.

However, Boden battled back and Conal Keaney's 21st minute goal edged them into a 1-9 to 0-6 interval lead.

Two goals form the restart from Ryan Basquel made their victory even more comprehensive.

St John's were reduced to 14 with the dismissal of Paul Cronin as Boden finished on top with points from Andrew Kerin, Keaney, Alan Flood, Sam Molony and Bob Dwan.
